Dantex Digital, the digital division of Dantex Group, has recently purchased and re-located to a 22,000 square-foot site in Corby, Northamptonshire. The new facility has been necessitated by the pace of demand for the new Pico range of equipment and confirms a strong future for Dantex Digital. The move was recently completed and production in the new facility has already started. The new facility offers general office space in two separate areas of the building that includes administration, engineering as well as software design capabilities. All aspects of stock, production and sales are supported on the new SAP system operated by the company. A second floor is comprised of a customer room with meeting and training facilities, as well as the R&D laboratory. The ground floor has been dedicated predominately to manufacturing. Dantex, who has been serving the label printing industry for more than 50 years, established its digital division in 2015, principally to develop its own range of digital presses, launched under the Pico brand. Since then, Dantex Digital has quickly become a recognized name in the UV inkjet digital label press arena, with a dedicated specialist team of designers and mechanical and electrical engineers. “By making this move, Dantex has invested in the future, and thanks to the interest in PicoJet equipment, this new manufacturing capacity will greatly improve our response time to customers’ demand for the presses. Despite the effects of Covid, we remain confident of our technology and this move confirms our desire to continue serving our industry,” says Ben Danon, Dantex Group CEO. While product development and manufacturing of Dantex’s digital range will be maintained at the Corby site, there will always be synergy between Dantex’s headquarters in the North and Corby to enable the company to support customers from all areas with easy access to airports for overseas travel.
